Mentor Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the rights and responsibilities of Mentors at the Magic School of Bangladesh (MSOB). By becoming a Mentor, you agree to abide by these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Application
  • To become a Mentor, you must apply through the MSOB platform and meet our eligibility criteria.

  • MSOB reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its sole discretion.

  • Mentors must demonstrate proficiency in magic and a commitment to teaching and ethical practices.

2. Role and Responsibilities
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to MSOB students.

  • Maintain a professional, respectful, and supportive approach when interacting with students.

  • Conduct live sessions, workshops, or interactive training as per MSOB's schedule.

  • Create or contribute educational content, including videos, lesson plans, and tutorials, if requested.

  • Comply with MSOB's policies regarding ethical magic practices and intellectual property.

3. Compensation and Benefits
  • Mentors may receive compensation or other benefits as outlined in their agreement with MSOB.

  • Compensation structure (if applicable) will be discussed individually with selected Mentors.

  • Mentors may be granted access to premium resources, networking opportunities, and professional development support.

  • MSOB reserves the right to modify compensation structures, with prior notice to affected Mentors.

4. Code of Conduct
  • Mentors must not use their position for personal gain, misleading claims, or unethical magic practices.

  • Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior towards students, fellow Mentors, or MSOB staff will result in immediate termination.

  • Mentors should not promote external services, products, or organizations without prior approval.

  • No Mentor is permitted to privately tutor or teach any student separately outside the official MSOB academic framework without providing prior notice to the MSOB Authority and obtaining explicit approval. Any violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including potential termination of the mentorship role.

    • This rule is established to maintain academic integrity, ensure equal learning opportunities for all students, and uphold the standards of MSOB.

5. Intellectual Property
  • Any materials created for MSOB (lessons, tricks, tutorials, etc.) remain the property of MSOB unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Mentors must not disclose or share MSOB’s proprietary content outside the platform.

6. Termination & Suspension
  • MSOB reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Mentor’s role if they:

    • Violate these Terms or engage in misconduct.

    • Provide misleading or unethical guidance to students.

    • Repeatedly fail to meet commitments or expected performance standards.

  • Mentors may resign by providing a 30-day written notice, ensuring a smooth transition.

7. Confidentiality
  • Mentors must maintain confidentiality regarding MSOB’s internal operations, student information, and proprietary content.
  • Any breach of confidentiality may lead to legal action.

8. Modifications to Terms
  • MSOB may update these Terms periodically. Continued participation as a Mentor constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation or legal action within Bangladesh’s jurisdiction.

By applying for or continuing as a Mentor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms.
